CollegeClarity is an independent college consulting company dedicated to clarifying the college process. The college search and application process can be very daunting and often appears cloaked in mystery; CollegeClarity will help guide you through to make it as easy and clear as possible.
CollegeClarity will work with you to determine what makes you unique, and help you build on that by developing your activities resume and the list of colleges that are the best match for you. No counselor can ever assure admission to any college, but CollegeClarity can help you assess and present yourself in a way that will be most appealing to colleges.
Openings are very limited for students in the class of 2015 and later (no longer accepting 2014 clients). The earlier you begin working with CollegeClarity the better, as it enables us to work together to develop your direction/passion/theme.
CollegeClarity is pleased to be able to serve families no matter what your location. If you are in the Charlottesville and Richmond areas of Virginia it allows for more "in person" meetings, but the wonders of technology make it very easy to work together from anywhere. I have clients all over the country and world, and the students like the flexibility of being able to schedule a time to "meet" that is outside of the usual office hour times.
Corey Fischer of CollegeClarity has worked with students and families from all over the United States and all over the world. Her recent client list includes students throughout Virginia, New Jersey, Texas, China, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Switzerland.
What is an Independent College Consultant?
An independent college consultant is a trained professional who provides counseling to guide a student and family through the college process with the objective of helping them identify colleges that are a good match for the student's growth (both academic and personal). Through close individual attention, the independent consultant provides firsthand knowledge of hundreds of college choices and works closely with the student and family to thoroughly explore the options.
Just as in any profession, it is important for an Independent College Consultant to have the proper qualifications, belong to professional organizations, and be committed to abiding by the ethical standards of these organizations. Independent Consultants do not guarantee admission into specific colleges nor promise financial awards/scholarships.
Visiting campuses enables consultants to know the nuances of a college.
